Has any one been to bulgaria and whats it like, is it cheap does it have good beaches?

went to Golden Sands a coupl of years ago. nessabar (think thats how to spell it) was nice. Certainly cheaper than other holidays I have been on, however, I go to visit the country and this was a little limited at that time. The food in the hotel was luke warm but plenty of it. Th beaches at the two resorts I saw where clean and food / drink cheap. Whilst I enjoyed it I have since been to other places such as Side in Turkey which I preferred. I am quite sure things have changed over the past couple of years. Enjoy your holiday wherever you go
