No communication with bf?

I've been thinking a lot about my relationship with my boyfriend of 10months. We had never had a conversation that lasted more then 30minutes unless something was wrong. Everything has always been small little chit chats about nothing. But then when something is wrong like, if something is bothering me lets say then it goes on for an hour. But everything else never lasts more then thirty minutes. And yet, with one of my friends we can talk for hours and hours and have been for the past week. And yet, my boyfriend can't hold a conversation with me.I tried everything but nothing works. He says not a lot of things go through my brain and guys never like to talk. so..I don't know. am I just worried over nothing? We don't even talk everyday.
