Why do atheists question Christians so much?

It happens both ways. Christians and Atheists constantly argue on here. It's irritating, to put it mildly. When people argue about their beliefs, they're not actually interested in the other person's opinions, they just want to say they're own. Lots of questions like that that are asked here always seem to answer themselves in the details.
