How can I get my 3 y/o to eat more meat & veggies?
Dr. Oz from Oprah's show says kids need to try food up to 20 times or more before they develop a taste for it. Just keep having him try new foods like you are. You control what he eats, so don't feed him anytime but meals and don't fix anything special for him, he needs to eat whatever is fixed for the meal. When he gets hungry enough, he will eat. Meat isn't that good for him anyway, just serve peanut er or rice and beans and other things with protein in them. As long as you keep giving him the vitamins, he's fine. Tuns of kids go through this, it's all normal. The book by Jerry Seinfeld's wife is Deceptively Delicious and she puts vegetable puree in foods for extra nutrition. Mom of 3 adults now!
