Pretty sure my new house is haunted???????

Tell it to go away and leave you alone. Most of the time that is all it takes. I had the same problem for several years, and finally I got so creeped out one night because it felt like several cats were jumping on and off my bed and running and jumping around my legs that I just said leave me alone and go haunt someone that deserves to be haunted. I haven't had any real problems since then, at least not at my house. I understand how you feel, you would rather believe you are imagining it than have it be real, so the last thing you want to do is tell it to show itself. Even if it doesn't leave, it won't scare you half to death if you tell it to leave you alone. I don't think ghosts know they scare you unless you tell them. ;-)
