What can I do for her to make this heat more bearable?

I have been seeing this girl quite regularly since she broke her leg and needs istance to do everyday things. The past few days has been torture for her, having a cast from her toes to her thigh, and contending with this heat-we live in Toronto. Tomorrow is supposed to be the hottest day yet. What can I do for her to make her more comfortable?
