Help me finish the story...?

They now have to deliver a pizza to the NEXT guys who called within 30 minutes in order to keep the money. Since they already waited 3 minutes and don't have a pizza they are now under time pressure so they decide not to hurry up and run to pick one up themselves and deliver it but rather just to make it themselves out of things they had at home. Upon doing so they realize that they had enough food to eat at home the whole time anyway and could have saved the $15 for the pizza, symbolized by the free cash on their doorstep.
