When seagulls migrate inland for the winter do they go to the same place year after year?

At least some gulls do return to the same spots every year. In 1997 a Black-headed Gull showed up in Fort Worth Texas. The bird had a band on its leg. The band was read and the bird was determined to be from Finland! The bird returned four years in a row. It was positively identified by the band. It was the first bird banded in Finland to ever show up in the United States. There is also an albino Ring-billed Gull that has been visiting a land fill in Corpus Christi for at least 7 years in winter.
